Description
This is one of my favourite handmade cleansing soaps. It is very creamy and makes a lot of foam, and you can feel how clean you are afterwards. This soap is made using a centuries old traditional cold press method.
It is made in Crawley, West Sussex. Each bar of soap is ethically produced with staff paid above the national Living Wage.
Natural soap lasts longer if it is allowed to dry out between uses. Also it is best to cut a piece off for use and leave the rest in a dry place until you wish to use it.
This luxurious soap only has four ingredients, and is completely free of any colours, preservatives, and fragrances. It contains no SLS, SLES, no parabens and no palm oil. Made with vegan extra virgin olive oil (hence the colour!), and 100% organic vegan virgin coconut oil.
It is also vegan and completely animal and alcohol free, and is suitable for Halal uses.
Safety
I make these soaps in batches of 14 and need a four-week lead in time as I use the traditional cold press method. I can take bulk orders for this, however I will require payment up front, and if you need more than six I can offer a 10% discount. Bulk buying will not include sisal soap bags.
Please let me know if these are wedding favours as I can put them in bags that match your colours and make them different sizes.
Final Ingredients: Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Aqua.
Sodium cocoate (and sodium olivate) is produced by hydrolysis of the ester linkages in coconut oil (and olive oil) with sodium hydroxide, a strong base (or alkali).
Size: Each bar is slightly different but all between 50 g and 60 g
pH: 8.5-9.5
